Viator Group Travel Insurance offers travel medical benefits for employee group benefit packages. The plan is complemented by first rate assistance and claims administration services provided by Global Excel Management Inc., which also oversees the handling of submission of provincial healthcare claims.
Who is eligible?
Viator Group Travel Insurance is for Canadian employers, unions or associations (of 25 or more individuals) who want to provide comprehensive emergency medical travel coverage and assistance services to employees/members and their families. Coverage is provided on an annual basis to all eligible employees covered under a government health insurance plan.

- Coverage periods from 30-120 days
- Stability periods for pre-existing medication conditions from 0-12 months

Employers maintain employee eligibility data. Employee coverage is verified at the time of claim. Monthly premium is collected based on the number of eligible employees.
